California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA / CPRA) Policy
Last Updated: September 15, 2026
This policy supplements our Privacy Policy and describes the privacy rights available to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), where applicable to our business and processing activities.
It explains how these rights relate to your interactions with AthletiXPhysio, operated by FUTUREWAVE SOLUTIONS LIMITED, and how to submit a request.
Your Rights Under the CCPA
California residents may exercise the rights described below, subject to applicable legal requirements and exceptions.
Right to Know
You may request information about:
-
The categories of personal information collected about you
-
The sources from which that information was obtained
-
The purposes for collecting, using, selling, or sharing it
-
The categories of recipients to whom it is disclosed
-
The categories of information sold, shared, or disclosed for business purposes
Right to Access
You may request the specific pieces of personal information we hold about you, subject to identity verification and applicable disclosure restrictions.
Where required, we will provide information in a readily usable, portable format.
Right to Delete
You may request deletion of personal information collected from you.
Certain information may need to be retained for legally permitted purposes, such as completing transactions, addressing security issues, meeting recordkeeping obligations, or handling legal claims. Where an exception applies, we will explain it as required by law.
Right to Correct
You may request correction of inaccurate personal information. We will consider the nature of the information, the purpose for which it is used, and relevant supporting details when reviewing your request.
Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing
You may direct us to stop selling or sharing personal information as those activities are defined by California law.
You can submit a request through our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page or by contacting us.
Where legally required, we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) and other recognized opt-out preference signals. These apply to the browser or device sending the signal and associated account information where required.
Sale or sharing opt-outs do not require identity verification or account creation.
Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information
Where we use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that trigger this right, you may request that its use be limited to legally permitted purposes.
This right does not necessarily apply to information used only to provide requested services, process transactions, maintain security, or perform other uses expressly permitted by law.
To submit an applicable limitation request, contact us using the details below.
Right to Non-Discrimination
You have the right to exercise applicable privacy rights without unlawful discrimination or retaliation.
Categories of Personal Information Collected
Depending on how you use our Services, we may collect:
-
Identifiers and contact information: Name, email address, phone number, billing address, shipping address, and account identifiers where applicable.
-
Commercial information: Purchase history, transaction records, products ordered or returned, and related service records.
-
Internet or network activity: Pages viewed, interactions with the website, browsing activity, and cookie or tracking information.
-
Device and technical information: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and related technical details.
-
Customer communications: Emails, contact form entries, support requests, and information you choose to provide when contacting us.
-
Payment-related information: Payment status, transaction references, and limited payment-method details. Sensitive payment credentials are processed through providers such as Shopify Payments. We do not store full payment card details.
Information may come directly from you, through automated website technologies, or from providers supporting our store, such as Shopify, payment processors, shipping partners, analytics providers, and customer support systems.
How Personal Information Is Used
We use personal information to:
-
Process purchases and fulfill orders
-
Arrange delivery and manage returns or refunds
-
Respond to customer questions
-
Send order confirmations, tracking information, and service notices
-
Maintain and improve website functionality
-
Protect accounts, transactions, and website security
-
Support analytics, advertising, and marketing, subject to applicable privacy choices
-
Meet legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations
We limit processing to purposes reasonably necessary and proportionate to the activities described in our privacy notices or otherwise permitted by law.
How Personal Information Is Shared
Information may be disclosed to the following categories of recipients for relevant operational purposes:
-
Ecommerce platform providers, including Shopify
-
Payment processors and financial service providers, including Shopify Payments
-
Shipping carriers, fulfillment providers, and logistics partners
-
Hosting, technical, analytics, and marketing providers
-
Customer support and communication providers
-
Legal, accounting, compliance, and other professional advisers
-
Authorities or other legally authorized recipients, where required by law or necessary to protect legal rights
The information disclosed depends on the recipient’s role. For example, fulfillment partners receive relevant order and delivery details, while payment providers process information necessary to complete transactions.
We do not sell personal information for monetary payment. However, certain advertising-related disclosures may fall within broader legal definitions of sale or sharing.
Sale or Sharing of Personal Information
California law defines “sale” more broadly than an exchange for money. “Sharing” includes disclosures for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Depending on the advertising technologies enabled and your privacy choices, identifiers, device information, browsing activity, or shopping interactions may be disclosed to advertising or technology partners in ways covered by these definitions.
Disclosing information to a service provider for permitted business purposes does not automatically constitute selling or sharing.
You may opt out through our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page. Unsubscribing from marketing emails does not, by itself, opt you out of advertising-related data disclosures.
How to Exercise Your Rights
Submit your request by email to support@athletixphysio.com or through our contact form.
Please describe the right you wish to exercise and provide the email address associated with your interaction with AthletiXPhysio, where relevant.
For requests to know, access, correct, or delete information, we may request additional details reasonably necessary to verify your identity and locate your records. Information supplied for verification will be used only for permitted verification and security purposes.
Opt-out and applicable limitation requests do not require identity verification. We may request only information needed to apply your choice to the relevant records.
An authorized agent may act on your behalf. We may request evidence of the agent’s authority and, for requests requiring verification, confirmation of your identity or authorization where permitted by law.
Please do not send passwords, full payment card numbers, or unnecessary sensitive information with your request.
Response Time
For applicable requests to know, access, correct, or delete personal information:
-
We confirm receipt within 10 business days.
-
We provide a substantive response within 45 calendar days of receiving the request, including time needed for verification.
-
Where legally permitted and reasonably necessary, we may extend the response period by an additional 45 calendar days. We will notify you of the extension and explain the reason within the initial response period.
For applicable sale or sharing opt-outs and requests to limit sensitive personal information, we act as soon as feasibly possible and no later than 15 business days after receipt.
If we cannot fulfill a request in whole or in part, we will explain the decision as required by law.
Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for its disclosed purpose, considering the type of information and applicable legal requirements.
Retention needs may include:
-
Operating accounts and providing Services
-
Completing orders, returns, and refunds
-
Responding to support inquiries
-
Maintaining required tax, accounting, and legal records
-
Resolving disputes and enforcing agreements
-
Preventing fraud and protecting security

When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it, subject to applicable retention requirements.
Non-Discrimination
AthletiXPhysio will not unlawfully discriminate or retaliate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
Because you submit an applicable privacy request, we will not unlawfully:
-
Deny products or services

-
Threaten penalties or retaliate against you
